The master goldsmith ring of Kerry

The ring of Kerry takes on a whole new meaning under the skilled hands of jeweller Paul Kelly (who is also a part-time mussel fisherman on the Beara Peninsula). Inspired by the wild landscape around him, Kelly's Kerry ring features interlocking torc bands in silver and 18ct gold set with brilliant-cut white diamond and a faceted emerald and costs €365 from his shop in Kenmare or online at www.pfk.ie

A master goldsmith, Kelly trained in his native Kilkenny, and served an apprenticeship with Rudolf Heltzel before opening his shop on Henry Street in Kenmare in 1999 where he has been based ever since.
